We carry liability and workers' compensation, and our on-site Project Managers oversee each roof replacement in order to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. Tommy began roofing in the late ’70’s. He roofed his way to an accounting degree at the University of Northern Iowa, then to a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa.
When he moved to Atlanta in the mid-’80’s to work for a high-tech marketing communications firm, he was pretty sure he’d driven the last nail of his life, but no! Roofing kept calling, and in late 1989 he founded Accent Roofing. The company’s only “truck” at that time was an ugly brown Ranchero (think El Camino) and it’s world headquarters was a garage in Lilburn. No air guns, no conveyors.
Due to his “real roofer” background, Accent Roofing under Tommy’s leadership has developed a culture which we hope you’ll find both reassuring and refreshing: We don’t look at your roof as an obstacle between us and your money. We see your roof as an opportunity to solve a major problem.
All boiled down, this is what we strive for:
1) To make sure that no customer ever comes out on the short end of the stick.
2) To make sure that every employee feels appreciated and earns a respectable and responsible living.
3) To make sure that you’re delighted with the experience.
After 40 years of roofing, Tommy still gets excited about every job and is still grateful for every client and every associate.

If there’s a harder-working or more dedicated person in the roofing industry, we’re not aware of it. Somewhat like a “coach’s kid” who grew up watching game film at the kitchen table, Phillip has roofing in his DNA.
As a kid he helped clean up jobsites and handed out fliers. During his high school years he learned to sell and do repairs, then continued to work here during college. After a stint in the U.S. Army, he came on full time in 2008 and has been growing the business and his professional skill set ever since.
When you work with Phillip, you’ll notice three things in particular: 1) He’s extremely accommodating. 2) He’s a straight shooter. 3) He’s very thorough.
With Phillip overseeing every detail of your project from start to finish, we know you’ll be well taken care of and will never have to wonder about times, dates, details or price!

While Kathy’s primary job is to make the phone ring,we know you couldn’t care less about that. What you probably do care about is that she also calls every one of our customer after the job to make sure they’re delighted with the experience. And if they’re not…somebody around here is going to get an earful!
Kathy’s been around roofing since she began dating the future Leaksmith in 1979, and except for a few years off to get the boys off to a solid start, she’s been a vital part of the program nobody extends a warmer welcome! She’s also in charge of making sure that everybody-suppl iers and employees alike-gets paid in full,on time, every time. If you ever have an unusual concern and need somebody to get to the bottom of it, your best bet is to bypass everybody else and go straight to Kathy. No kidding!

Creighton came to us from the brewing industry and is our systems expert. He started back in 2019 as a Supervisor, then Warranty Manager and is now our Business Development Manager. He wears a lot of different hats from drone and fleet management, to charity and outreach, system and IT, marketing and front office management. When not at work, Creighton is an active parishioner at his church and spending time with his family.

Gary came to Accent Roofing Service straight from the University of Georgia, where he earned a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance in 2015. A remarkably “quick study,” Gary handles all things financial–accounting, billing, payroll, accounts payable and insurance– and is constantly adding to his skill set. Obviously UGA did a great job with Gary, because Gary does a great job for us….and our clients!

We’ve had very good luck with guys who grew up in Florida, and Michael is exhibit A. With a natural and sincere interest in people, plus a wealth of exemplary customer service in varied industries, Michael regularly earns rave reviews from clients. As Assistant General Manager, his duties include estimating, supervision, inventory management, and quality assurance. In 2016 Michael was the estimator-of-record for an impressive 17% of our new clients, displaying the focus and attention to detail required to favorably impress all of them!

Beth is our Client Sales Specialist and a self-proclaimed workaholic and over-communicator which means she talks too much and never stays in her lane. Her talent is making sure each client has the best sales experience possible and keeping the information highway open between the clients, sales, and production departments. Client service and the queen of wearing many hats are her trademarks.
Beth loves to explore new restaurants and try new wines, but she really loves to dine out to steal recipes to try at home. Everyone in the office has a love/hate relationship with her because she is constantly bringing in goodies to eat and doesn’t seem to care about other employees’ diets.

As the Client Services Manager, Stacy is one of our newer employees, and wow does she bring a lot of knowledge, drive, and heart to the team. She is most likely the friendly voice you hear when calling and is a wiz at scheduling the sales rep appointments while guarding their time and keeping them out of ATL traffic as much as possible. Stacy also saves the old people in the office when the equipment is not working, she seems to have superpowers with computers, phones, and printers!
Stacy enjoys traveling and can have her bag packed for any adventure at a moment's notice. Her ability to order what everyone wishes they had ordered for lunch is one of her special talents, everyone has food envy, she makes good choices!

Need a repair? Amanda’s your woman. Hailing from the great state of Illinois, Amanda came to us in 2019 as a Courier but quickly worked her way to Repair Manager with her effortless blend of dedicated servitude and no B.S. mentality. Commonly referred to as the “Repair Wrangler”, Amanda ensures your entire repair experience from diagnosis to completion is as smooth as a cowboy’s swing of a lasso.
